Visual aid are an important part of presentations, which emphasize and clarify main points, and improving the look and appearance of presentations and  make them more interesting and eye catching .they helps to get the attention of audience and make the presentation  interesting for the listeners.but on the other side they also have some disadvantages .,like some of the options from them are expensive , so everyone cannot afford it , some are hard , other are difficult to handle. so as we all knows that "coin has two side  head and tale" similarly AV also have some pros and cons .

Props provide a realistic reinforcement of massage content. it increase the participation  of listeners. that actually keep the  listeners on the track and they are active or concentrate like what is going on  in the presentation.however it leads the extra work. it required lots of efforts . It is also an expensive option of AV . Because it need to transporting and replacing worn objects. it is also a limited use with larger audiences.

Transparencies is also a kind of AV option . it gives professional  appearance with little practice . it is an easy task to prepare , maintain and update. it locate reliable equipment and limit information shown at one time. but on the other side it appear to some as an outdated  presentation method. hold speaker captive to the machine. it mostly provide poor and worse reproduction of photos and some graphics.So this provide the lower quality output , which put bad impression on the presentation.

Flipcharts and whiteboards

Flip charts and whiteboards are another kind of AV options . They provide inexpensive services and they are available at most sites. they are very easy to create and  they modify on the spot , they do record the comment from the audience . they are combine with high- tech visual in the same presentation , in spite of all these it also have some cons  because first of all , they required graphic talent. this optionn is only better for less audience , its hard for larger audience to see. . Prepared flip charts are cumbersome to transport and transport and easily worn with use.

Videos give the accurate information and representation of the content . the big advantage of video in the presentations is that it gives all the detail information and keep the concentration of listeners while they are watching and listening . i also catch the interest of listener and make the presentation interesting and professional. It is a strong indication of forethought and preparation. however , it creates potential for comparability issues related to computer  video formats . even it is expensive to create and update , everyone cannot afford it.

Laguage and Fluency

Language  play very vital role , when presenting. It is better if u use simple words while presenting instead of using long and complicate words in your slides, so that everyone can understand what presenter is talking about and they can participate by keeping their interest. however if your language is hard , then everyone cannot understand the thing , so they will loss their interest in the presentation.Secondly , if your are presenter than you have to speak fluently and smoothly , and put stress on the main words , so that people can understand your subject, otherwise if all the presentation is in same tune than , it going to be boring and interest less. people will not understand your main point.

Animation and sounds

Music and  the animations greatly effect your presentation . It catch the the interest of audience and make your presentation more interesting  and  professional. However, you must also make sure that you don't use too many effects.Before you are going to present , watch it and do the improvements that you think are required .It will be better if you share your presentation with your friends and get their suggestions , it will be helpful to make your presentation well organized  and attractive.

Presentation software allows for many great design options to make your presentations look amazing.  However, be cautious of colors and templates.  Use colors that contrast well.  For example, don't use navy blue font on a background.  This will make seeing the words on your slides very difficult.  As for templates, make sure you choose a template that is appropriate for your audience.  The presentation template shown to a group of elementary school children will look different to a group of professionals.

Size and appearance of visual presentation

 One of the most important rules to follow is not to crowd your slides with text.  A good rule to follow is the "5x5" rule.  This means 5 words per line, and 5 lines maximum per slide.  Of course this shouldn't be followed literally, but use your judgment again.  A slide should be a cue for the presenter, not text to read from.  Also, font on a slide should not be smaller than 22 pt.  A good way to see if your font is too small is to open a full-screen slide and step about 3 feet away from the screen.  If you cannot see the text clearly, your audience won't see it on a screen very well either.
